Night Navigation
Night navigation - Campsie fells - £50 per person Moderate - ⛰️⛰️
Do you already have the basic navigation skills or have been to an introduction to navigation ?
Know how to work out timings, distance, pacing & bearings but would like to brush up on your skills and enhance them further.
Night navigation reduces your visibility and allows focus on trusting the map and compass a perfect chance to practice in more challenging conditions.
What the event includes -
We will meet in the village of killearn at 4.30pm where we will have a quick chat over and meet everyone on the event. We will have a look at contour interpretation and brush up our basic navigation legs as we make our way towards the campsies.
A pretty cool experience being out on the hills as darkness falls! Once darkness has set in we will focus on some micro nav , navigation methods and relocation methods as we make our way back to the car park.
