Sròn a' Choire Ghairbh and Meall na Teanga rise steeply above Lochy Lochy opposite the busy A82, and are commonly known as the Loch Lochy Munros. Their ascent from Kilfinnan begins with an approach through dense plantations, but once on the hills the views are superb.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                    What the day includes -
We will meet at the car park at 8am and start our walk for a couple kilometres on a forestry track, before branching off for a gradual and continuous hike through the Coire on a good mountain path which will take us to the bealach. We will stop for a quick refuel before making our way upto the first munro of the day, Sron a Choire Ghairbh.
Retracing our steps back down the the bealach to ascend our second Munro of the day, Meall Na Teanga. The views from here are stunning all around and well worth the extra break and bite to eat.
Back down the same way we will make our way once again to the Bealach and catch the path back out and down to the forestry below where we can enjoy a nice leisurely walk back to the cars.
There is no technical or challenging terrain on this hike though is suited to those with previous hiking experience and a good amount of hill fitness is a must.
Meeting location and kit list will be received upon booking.
