                                                                                                                                                                                                                     The rough bounds of knoydart is a pretty spectacular place and also very remote, reaching Inverie by boat or a very long walk in via the costal path from Kinloch Hourn. Spend a couple of nights spent in the great outdoors with a group of like minded people taking in the 2 Munros all under the safety of mountain leader/s. This event is for those with previous hiking experience and not shy of a big day out on the hills covering rough terrain. The accommodation is a beach campsite which has a social cabin, fire pits & wood , eco toilet. You can get a shower at the bunkhouse for an extra charge.

What this package includes -
Day one - We will meet at Mallaig at 5pm on the day to catch the evening ferry over to Inverie. The ferry takes about 30-45mins so this is the perfect chance to get to know everyone else on the event. Once we get off the ferry we have a 15min walk to the campsite where we choose our spots and set up for the evening, relax now we are in knoydart.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Day Two -
We will meet at an arranged time in the morning to set out for our days hike. This will be an early start as we have alot of distance and ascent to cover with rugged and rough terrain throughout.
The first part of the day will be on a land rover track before we split off and start ascending Meall Buidhe. Between the two summits the ridge line is tough going with lots of extra added ascent before making a final ascent to Luinne Bheinn. There is minor scrambling throughout this route.
Once we have reached our final summit we will head down to mams barrisdale pass where we pick back up the track for the long walk back to Inverie.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       After our hike we will head to Britain’s remotest pub, The Old Forge where we can get dinner before settling back in at long beach campsite for the last night.
You must supply your own camping kit -
Tent / sleeping bag / roll Matt / cook system
                                                                                                                                                                                                            Food is NOT included in this package.
You will need to bring/ buy your food and fluids for breakfast and a hill day. We will aim to eat in Britain’s remotest pub, The old Forge on the evening of our hike. All food will need to be packed and brought over with you on the Friday. There is a small shop in Inverie but we aren’t guaranteed to meet their opening times.
                                                                                                                                                                                               Transport to mallaig is not included , you must find your own way to and from the event.
We will depart Inverie on the Sunday on the 9am ferry.
