                                                                                                                                                                                                                  The traverse of the Corbett of Am Bathach is along a fine grassy ridge, whilst Ciste Dhubh is a Munro of real character giving an excellent walk.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   What the day includes -
We will meet at 8am and from there start our hike , pulling up the shoulder of Am Bathach pretty much right from the roadside. A fine grassy ridge takes us over to the Corbett summit, a more interesting approach to our munro. From Am Bathach we will descend to Bealach a Choinich and continue towards Ciste Dubh, though one of the smaller Munros in the area it’s an impressive mountain!                                                                                                                                                                                                   After a well deserved break and bite to eat we will retrace our steps back down to the bealach and pick up the path for a walk back out down the Glen and back to the cars.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                    This event is ideal for those with previous hiking experience and a good amount of hill fitness. The terrain throughout is steep and can be wet underfoot at times but there is nothing technical.
