Beginners Mountain Skills Course - Cost - £60per person

Are you new to the hills or looking to build skills and confidence over steep and rocky terrain ? This course could be for you, a day Packed full of lots of information, tips and advice whilst putting new skills to practice.
You must have some recent hillwalking experience and good fitness to attend this course.
What the day includes -
Meeting in the morning we have a short walk into our venue for the day. We will be ascending Coire Na Tulaich where there is a mixture of terrain that we will cover , enabling us to work on different skills for better movement to help towards your own hill days.
Throughout the day we will cover -
⛰️Skill full walking & walking pole set up
⛰️Foot placement and movement through rocky terrain - Boulder field / scree / stepped paths / minor scrambling
⛰️Route choice through Boulder fields / rock bands
⛰️ Build confidence on Rocky Ridges

We will be working on our skills throughout ascent and descent to give you the most out of this course, also visiting the summit of Stob Dearg, One of Glencoe’s most Iconic peaks!
